Over the past three years, the Strategic Missile Forces received new information transfer systems for the position areas of missile divisions, a fleet of satellite communications stations, radio stations KV and VHF bands is being updated.
The dynamics of supply to the Strategic Missile Forces (RVSN) of new models of communications technology will make it possible, by 2020, to completely switch to modern digital information transmission technologies.
In the last three years, the Strategic Missile Forces received new information transfer systems for the position areas of missile divisions, a fleet of satellite communication stations, radio stations of HF and VHF bands, and technical support and repair facilities for communication equipment are being updated.
Strategic Missile Forces are equipped with digital telecommunication equipment, such as digital radio relay stations, automatic telephone exchanges of secret and open communications, local computer networks of the closed segment of the data transmission network of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
Within the framework of government contracts, the RVSN equipped with digital telecommunication equipment of the Strategic Missile Forces control points to the missile division inclusive. Earlier, in the Missile Forces, the reserve command posts of missile divisions, the elements of the Strategic Missile Forces Communication Center, training centers, the Military Academy of the Strategic Missile Forces named after Peter the Great and its branch in Serpukhov were re-equipped. In addition, these works were carried out at arsenals and in units of the 4th state central inter-species training ground.
The implementation of the planned measures will make it possible to achieve a significant increase in the effectiveness of the Strategic Missile Forces application in terms of reducing the time of the management cycle and improving the quality of decisions made by military command officials on the management of subordinate units and associations, taking into account the implementation of information security measures, interference and intelligence.
